Vision + Mission

VISION
The Talented Youth was formed in 2007 with the goal of producing the most influential youth film festival in America: The National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY) and through NFFTY and other programs, providing ways for young artists to make an impact on social issues they care about. We seek to address marked needs in education and networking for young artists, and to expand opportunities for promotion of their work.

MISSION
The mission of The Talented Youth is to encourage and acknowledge the accomplishments of young artists working in media arts and music, celebrating their vision through festivals and competitions that showcase their extraordinary talents and the compelling stories they tell.

LONG-TERM GOALS
Long-term goals are to provide year-round networking, to increase exposure for young filmmakers around the world via a new interactive website and other distribution options, to continue to promote themes of social responsibility, and to create ongoing opportunities for filmmaker learning and advancement.
