Thank You Lindsey.09/30/2013
It’s with much sadness we are announcing Lindsey LeDuc has left NFFTY as Managing Director to pursue a new life adventure. We’re thrilled for Lindsey but know it won’t be the same without her.
Lindsey has been a fan of NFFTY from the very beginning. She’s attended every single festival. At first she was just a big community supporter, attending on her own to check out the talents of young directors and discover what was fresh in film. However soon we realized Lindsey was too amazing of a local talent to not pursue and we were lucky enough to hire her as Managing Director in 2011.
Over the next 3 years, Lindsey and festival partner Jesse Harris worked to grow the organization and took NFFTY to amazing new heights. Lindsey developed and launched the first ever Future of Film Expo in 2012, a new project that brought together dozens of films schools, technology companies and industry leaders from around the world to Seattle. Lindsey also brought incredible event production experience, helping to make NFFTY one of the best-run film festivals around.
Lindsey was and is above all else, a wonderful person to work with. She’s a favorite to many in the community and always knew how to have a great time. We’ll miss her dearly but know that she’ll remain a top NFFTY supporter and fan.
Good luck Lindsey and see you at the movies!
