NFFTY Earth promotes the power of film and youth created art to bring positive changes to the environment, support social justice, and encourage peace.
What we do now
- Special recognition during NFFTY to films that promote environmental sustainability, social justice, or international peace.
- Submissions outreach to international youth, environmental and social justice organizations.
- 0% Carbon, 100% Entertainment: NFFTY is a carbon neutral event as certified by carbonfund.org.
- Festival program guides and organizational materials are printed with soy inks on recycled paper by local printers.
- All Festival venues are within walking distance of each other, eliminating excess driving.
- Environmental and social justice awareness supported through educational displays and presentations at NFFTY and other The Talented Youth events.
- Collaboration with socially responsible businesses and other non-profits on joint projects to further awareness of NFFTY Earth issues.
Long Term Goals
Organizing benefit concerts, art showcases, service projects and more! NFFTY Earth intends to be the campaign that will promote the work of talented young artists while simultaneously helping them raise awareness for and positively affect causes that they care about.
