Join us as Danish filmmakers Michael Wikke and Steen Rasmussen walk us through their long and storied career as writers, directors, producers, and musicians - presenting the trials and tribulations they have experienced in bringing their inventive brand of off-beat comedy to Danish families for over 30 years.
Wikke & Rasmussen is a household name in Denmark. This Danish filmmaker duo has been active during the past 33 years writing, directing and producing a range of TV shows, feature films, and radio comedies that are considered classics in Denmark.
Wikke and Rasmussen are multi-award winning directors, and often regarded as the Danish Coen Brothers. In most of their work they put an emphasis on music, having produced several hit songs during their career.

Join us for NFFTY’s 3rd annual Works In Progress event! Presented in partnership with Relativity School, we will be screening unfinished films from filmmakers 24 and under.
The event will feature a panel of industry professionals providing constructive feedback to the selected filmmakers. This great opportunity to present unfinished works in an intimate, collaborative environment is open to all filmmakers; both those with or without a film screening in the regular festival lineup.

Presenters will explore nuts and bolts topics like how to get started in 360º and what’s the best affordable gear, as well as more conceptual topics, like what can filmmakers learn from gaming and theater about world-building, and what is the difference between creating narratives vs. experiences.

Join us for a keynote presentation by producer Chris Moore, as he leads us through his own journey in the film industry, with advice to emerging filmmakers and producers.
Chris Moore has worn a number of hats during his 27-year career in the media industry. In 1993 he formed Fusion Studios, through which he has served as producer on such pictures as Good Will Hunting (Academy Award winner for Best Original Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor), Glory Daze, Best Laid Plans, Joy Ride, American Pie, Waiting, Reindeer Games, and the recent Oscar-winning film Manchester By The Sea. In 1999, Chris partnered with friends and creative collaborators Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and Sean Bailey to form LivePlanet, a company dedicated to the creation of multi-platformed entertainment content, such as Project Greenlight.
