
Charity Everett
Charity Everett is a Creative Technologist and storyteller who is interested in exploring the connection between humanity and technology. Her project “Go Back Fetch It” has revolutionized AR storytelling and was featured at MIT, Harvard, The Institute of Contemporary Art and invited to apply to the Sundance Film Festival in the New Frontier category. Charity is also in collaboration with the Harvard Semitic Museum through the Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning to bring to life ancient Mesopotamian Reliefs using AR. She was selected as a 2016 Oculus Launchpad Fellow, an IDEA New Rochelle Resident, and is working with India’s VR|AR|MR to bring immersive media to those in the developing world.

Bay Rait
Bay in an acclaimed cross-media creator with more than 50 short films for Valve and the massively popular games Team Fortress, L4D, CSGO, Portal and HL2 under his belt. As Creature Facial Lead at WETA Digital, Bay was most notably responsible for modeling and building the facial system for the CGI character “Gollum" in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. In 2003, Bay received a Visual Effects Society Award for 'best character animation in a live action motion picture' for his work on creating Gollum. Most recently, Bay has founded the Spiraloid Workshop Co. (Spiraloid), creating 3D Graphic Novels with animation, mini-games and collectibles hidden inside. Jeremiah J. Allen
Jeremiah Allen is a Queer, Transmasculine, Black and Indigenous tribal member of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians and Lakota Sioux tribe. Jeremiah is passionate about the intersections of race, gender, socioeconomic status and sexual orientation, looking critically at the social systems he belongs to, and the power of courageous storytelling. His documentary series “Authentically Us” tells stories of transgender people in the pacific NW region using 360° filmmaking and Virtual Reality. “Authentically Us” is part of Oculus’s VR for Good Creators Lab and premiered in 2018 at South by Southwest (SXSW), Tribeca, and Cannes among other festivals.

Derek Shiu
Derek is a technical animator and video game industry professional passionate about bringing personalities and life to characters that relates to the audience. Currently, he is a co-founder of Giant Cranium, an expert virtual reality content creation studio where he leads the rigging and animation of characters. Derek has worked with multiple studios (including Griptonite Games, GLU Mobile, Airtight Studios, and Unity) and on a variety of genres in both hand key and motion capture formats, ranging from the Sesame Street franchise to ghost detective murder mystery games.

Stephanie Hawn
Stephanie is a strategic and multidisciplinary designer with an eye for innovation. She has been working at HBO for the past 4 years where she has been working on some of their Virtual Reality projects. Although her skill set is vast, her greatest expertise revolves around interaction design, UX, and motion graphics. Her wish is to combine her knowledge and experience in these areas, to deliver the best creative solutions to her employer and their audiences.
