COVID-19 Safety Protocols
We are so excited to welcome you safely back to the festival! Please read through the following carefully so that you know what to expect.
PROOF OF VACCINATION
We will require proof of full vaccination, including at least one booster shot, for all attendees of our in-person festival.
You are considered “fully vaccinated” two weeks after completing the second dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine (e.g., Pfizer or Moderna) or two weeks after receiving a single dose of a one-dose vaccine (e.g., Johnson & Johnson/Janssen). Please be prepared to present your proof of vaccination along with a photo ID when you first check-in and redeem your pass. You may need to present it again when entering some of our partner venues throughout the festival.
What documentation is accepted?
You may present a vaccination card, a photo of your card, or a digital vaccine record with matching photo ID.
Can I present a negative PCR test instead of proof of vaccine?
No, we require proof of vaccination.
What if I am unable to prove my vaccination status, or do not meet all the requirements? Can I still attend NFFTY?
You will be unable to attend our events in Seattle, but you will be able to participate fully in our virtual events throughout the festival.
MASK POLICY
As of March 22, 2022, masks are still required at all of our screening venues. You will be expected to remain fully masked in all of our festival venues when not actively eating or drinking.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY SUGGESTIONS
Activate Washington Exposures Notifications on your smartphone to alert you if you’ve been exposed to COVID
Wear a high-quality mask, such as an N95, or consider double masking to keep yourself well--protected throughout the weekend
Keep up to date on available shots, and receive additional boosters as they are available and recommended
Wash your hands often, and avoid touching your face as much as possible
Maintain social distance when possible (we know it’s a challenge!)
We ask that you not attend if any of the following is true for you or anyone in your party:
Within 14 days before attending the festival you have tested positive, or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19;
Within 48 hours prior to attending the festival, you have experienced symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g. a fever of 100.4°F or higher, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking muscle pain/aches, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19 identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention);
Within 14 days prior to attending the festival, you have traveled to any international territory identified by federal or applicable state or local governments as being subject to travel or quarantine advisories due to COVID-19.
WHAT IS NFFTY DOING?
All of our festival staff are fully vaccinated, and will be wearing masks.
All of our festival venues are following local and federal guidance and protocols when it comes to COVID safety. This includes additional sanitation practices, access to hand sanitizer in venues, mask enforcement, vaccine requirements, and so on.
We will continue to monitor for any changes in the CDC Guidelines, and to follow all recommendations from our City, County and State officials.
