THE SCOUT

 October 9th | 7pm | SIFF Film Center

A location scout is tasked with finding the perfect interiors for a television pilot. Over the course of a single day, she drives around New York City, interacting with strangers, taking photos of their cozy apartments and eclectic shops, while attempting to satisfy the demands of her erratic employers.

Alumni of the 2016 edition of NFFTY, filmmakers Paula González-Nasser and Ryan Martin Brown will be in conversation with NFFTY Lead Programmer Amy Williams following the film.

Special discounted pricing is available for attendees 24 years old or younger. Ticket holders are invited to attend a reception after the screening where light refreshments will be provided.
