For the past sixteen years, NFFTY has been an important launching pad for emerging filmmakers, preparing young creatives for a challenging and evolving industry. We champion the next generation of filmmakers, providing them with a world class platform to showcase their work, network, and learn. We support filmmakers through our annual festival, distribution opportunities, continued educational opportunities and year-round programming by and for alumni.

As a non-profit, we rely on many sources of revenue – from sponsorships, ticket sales, submission fees, grants, and individual donations. Your support directly impacts our day-to-day operations, supporting NFFTY’s mission to enable, nurture, promote and encourage the next generation of filmmakers to inspire, lead, and entertain the world with their stories.

Why donate to NFFTY?

NFFTY seeks to support emerging filmmakers from around the world. We raise the voices of young film professionals, with a focus on ensuring that women, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and those from traditionally marginalized communities have representation. We ensure that emerging filmmakers are represented and given a platform to share their perspectives. Please help us reach our goal of raising $25,000 this year through Giving Tuesday and our end of the year campaign. Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. Created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good the year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity is coming soon.
